Know Your 4G Network Operators Codes Today

Still on the 4G LTE network matters, which are currently sweeping across all the GSM and non-GSM network operators in the country, we will like to let you know that there are unique codes often assigned to each of the 4G networks of these network operators.

For example, you can easily see the codes for particular network when you use a 4G enabled device to switch on your WiFi and to automatically searche and detect surrounding or available networks.

For the basic GSM networks in the country like MTN, Airtel, Glo and Etisalat, it is easy to identify their 4G network codes as it normally come with the name of the network then followed by abbreviated network country and then the type of network.

For instance, MTN 4G network code is simply seen as MTN NG 4G and that of Airtel is given as Airtel NG 4G and same goes for Glo and Etisalat, their 4G network codes are Glo NG 4G and Etisalat NG 4G

So with that you can easily tell or differentiate their network codes, but this is not usually the case when you talk of other 4G network providers in the country like that of Spectranet, Ntel, Swift, SMILE etc. as their own network codes are mostly represented with numbers only, making it difficult to differentiate or determine the network in question.

In fact, if you don’t know the codes for these 4G networks, you won’t even know the network

it is assigned to when the codes appear.

In our today’s mission, we are going to be unravelling the codes for those networks mentioned above so you will no longer mix things up when you see the codes and you will know the one for each network.

Without further ado, here are the 4G network codes for those network carriers;

For Spectranet, the 4G network code is given as 62124

Ntel is represented as 62140

For SMILE, you have is as 62127

Then Swift goes with 62122

Finally, knowing those codes make you know which network has it anywhere they appear
